Pin Down News 7th July 07 Gravesend Messenger

Gravesend Messenger

Kendall House and my book are in the Gravesend Messenger front page and second page this week and hope more people come forward in exposing what went on at Kendall House when they read this article.

Kendall House was home for disturbed girls and it is a pity they even put girls there who were not disturbed and they were hand picked by Miss Law and Dr Perinpanayagam out of girls put forward to them.

Wandsworth social services put me in Kendall House and I know many others came from Wandsworth social services.

Complaints were made by many before I went to Kendall House and everyone was aware of how bad it was there but they carried on sending girls there. The government were also aware and so was the royal college of psychiatry and both chose to do nothing. I will put more on that here later based on a documentry that was done in 1980 which was highly condemning of the treatment of girls and the drugs regimes used on them which were barbaric. Anyone would of thought Kendall House was from Hitlers regimes here in the UK and the chemical cosh which no child should ever have to endure. There is alot of questions that need to be asked and I will be asking them here.

Kendall House had no authority to turn itself into a secure unit but did so anyway and stripped girls of their basic human rights. Not all girls were drugged and not all girls were treated badly but for those of us who were, it was a nightmare.
Staff using girls to help pin down other girls was disgusting behaviour and some of those staff went onto work in childrens teams in social services and one even went onto be a judge. Scary that people like that were even allowed to work with children when they done so much wrong to the girls at Kendall House.

I do hope the staff realise what they done wrong and the staff who didnt agree with what was going on need to speak up and some have already come forward xxx

I am not part of any organisation and have met many to date to highlight the chemical cosh used on girls at Kendall House and I thank all of them for their support. Sadly this support has not come from child abuse organisations who are aware of my book and situation.
